WASPS
WASPS (Waterbeach After School Play Scheme) is an out of school club providing quality
childcare for children aged 4-11 years, before and after school. We have a Holiday Club too, which runs in the school holidays.
WASPS is a registered charity; the club was originally set up by, and is still managed by, a voluntary Management Committee of parents/carers for the benefit of local families. We have been operating since 1997 and are inspected by Ofsted.
WASPS have a well-qualified, friendly team of staff working with children and supporting play! WASPS provide a caring and fun environment, with many play opportunities on offer both inside and outside. Playworkers facilitate child led play, the children choose how to spend their time at the club, as they would in their home environment.
We run from Waterbeach Playhouse, based on the school site. This is a purpose built, secure play space shared with Waterbeach Community Playgroup. We offer regular, ad-hoc and last-minute bookings (families need to be registered with us first) with reasonable fees and sibling discounts, childcare vouchers are accepted too.

Breakfast Club runs from 7:45 a.m. until the start of school and After School Club runs until 6 p.m. on all school days. Please enquire to find out availability and book a place.

Premier Education
Premier Education are delighted to partner with Waterbeach Community Primary School to provide comprehensive Wrapround Care services at the school. Our partnership with Waterbeach Community Primary spans over six years, during which we have managed wraparound care, facilitated inset days, organised holiday camps, overseen physical education activities, and conducted lunchtime clubs.
Premier Education takes pride in offering a premium Ofsted-registered wraparound care facility. We are committed to delivering high-quality out-of-hours care for the school’s students, ensuring a reliable and exceptional service that caters to the needs of busy parents and children alike.
In alignment with the school’s ethos, Premier Education works closely with Waterbeach Community Primary to uphold the school’s golden rules within our provision. This commitment ensures consistency and a smooth transition for students from their school day into our after-school care programme.
We are excited to welcome new and existing faces into our provision, with something for everyone to enjoy within our provision.

Before school club:
The before-school club runs from 07:45am – 08:45am with a wide range of activities for the children to enjoy, engaging the children before the start of the school day with light sporting activities, as well as board games, construction, quizzes, team challenges and more! Breakfast is included within the booking, with a menu to suit the dietary requirements of all children.
After school club:
The after-school provision begins at the end of the school day at 3:15 pm and has 3 booking options to suit parent's busy schedules. The after-school club provision includes a carousel of activities for all children to enjoy, with children dictating the activities they would like to take part in each day including, arts & crafts, football, Nerf, athletics, free play and more!
Full Session 3:15pm – 6:00pm
Half Session 3:15pm – 4:45pm
After clubs session 4:45pm – 6:00pm
The after-school provision is registered and regulated by Ofsted, allowing parents to pay using Tax free childcare vouchers.
